Baby Beluga
On Wednesday, Brent and I hung out with four beluga whales.
I was quite surprised at how small they were. Brent informed me that whales generally aren't that huge. Apparently, they can't swallow ships and people don't live inside them. He knows this because he wrote a paper on whales.
Did I mention that the belugas were so cute? They were! I thought they looked like semi-roasted marshmallows!
By the way, I don't like burnt marshmallows.
When we went to Tofino, I found a really nice stick for roasting marshmallows. It was perfect for making those beluga-like shapes. I was so excited and showed it to Brent. He took the marshmallow off, threw it at my face, and poked me with the stick. Then he started to sing "baby beluga in the deep blue sea."
I was appalled!
Just kidding, he never referred me to a whale. But he once called me a mad cow.
