X-Men Wears Prada
Last night, Brent took me to the movies and paid for my ticket and popcorn.
He bought one ticket for The Devil Wears Prada and one for X-Men III.
I thought it was kind of weird seeing separate shows but I was intent on watching mine. Plus, he paid for the tickets so all I could do was nod my head, cover my mouth and giggle furiously.
I have to tell you, watching a movie without him was like sleeping on twenty mattresses with a pea hidden underneath. I was restless!
The show was great but I would have enjoyed it more if he was there. I missed him. One of the great things I love about going to the movies is having him sit next to me. He’s such a friendly neighbour. He would always rest his hand on my lap, touch my arm, or whisper sweet nothings. I love that he lets me know he is there. I’m quite afraid of the dark.
To my delight, near the end of the film, he found me and sat next me. He decided to skip the end of his movie to be with me and keep me company. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one suffering from withdrawal symptoms (and/or who ran out of popcorn).
I love him so much. Next weekend, I will take him the movies so he can watch the ending of The Devil Wears Prada. Wait, we're going to a wedding next weekend. Okay, the following weekend... wait, I think we're going out for my birthday. Right... and following after that we have two weddings to go to!
I love him so much. Next weekend, I will buy him a coke.
